So happy you decided to join me. I am Chachi. I am a Mexican-American from San Diego, Ca who now lives in Homer, AK. I live here with my husband and three adorable dogs. I love Alaska and work as a cook at the local hospital. I love vintage and antiques and my focus in life is simplicity and sustainability. You will see that reflected in everything I do and cook.

With all of my recipes I take inspiration from both my Southern and Mexican heritage. I love to cook and travel and greatly respect and love other cultures. I started this blog to share all of my creations in hopes of inspiring others to get out of their comfort zone and try something new.  I hope this blog can offer some inspiration to you.
